I have always been a visual communicator. I am pretty sure that I drew before I could talk. I even remember that as a child I wanted to be a cartoon. Other kids had dreams of being a fireman or doctor, but I just wanted to be able to get hit on the head with an anvil and then re-inflate myself. How crushed I was when I learned that this dream was not to be.
In April of 2007 I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I had developed the idea and concept art for my story Memory Lane for my BFA final project. I was overwhelmed by the response it received by students, faculty, and community. I am encouraged by the support and enthusiasm that it was shown and plan to continue developing the idea and hopefully animating it in the near future.
Here is a picture of me with my wife Mary Ann and our baby Audrey Lucille.
